That's us in the red, S.W. of Brenham... short but sweet. Anything is welcome after 4 months of no rain.

How'd it go today, Brad? There was enough rain to completely obscure the trees outside my office window here in Clear Lake. I hope some of this incredible deluge made it up to Brenham.
We got an additional 1/2 inch this afternoon. Unfortunately it is a month too late. The new plantings will enjoy the break, but earlier crops faded away two weeks ago (tomatoes, eggplant, squash, zucchini, melons, etc.).
Now we are looking towards the early fall harvest.
