Strong winds and light rain so far at the farm as the storm stays to the east of us. Although the farm seems to be out of harms way, the storm has passed right over where most of our CSA families reside: Cypress, Tomball, Katy and Houston.
Our prayers go out to everyone in the path of Ike.

We seem to have dodged a bullet here in Cypress-- some damage to houses, many fences and trees down, but SO much better than so many areas. Most of Cypress, Tomball and Katy has had power restored.
Thank goodness! Glad to hear everyone is safe and with power.
